I was also stationed at Holme upon Spaulding Moor and Full Sutton, and #rd AF HDGS in Londeon and the Dental Laboratory in Eastcote
I was born on 19 Dec 1952 at what is listed at the time as 5th Hospital Group APO 147 Wroughton, Wiltshire. Another form indicates the birth location as United States Air Force Hospital, Burderop Park, Chisledon Highworth, Swindon, England.
At that time, my Father was stationed at either RAF Blenheim Crescent in Ruislip, Middlesex, or where ever the 136th Communications Security Squadron USAF was located. Are the two hospitals one-in-the-same?
Since my Father's station was in Ruislip, I wonder why was I birthed way over in Swindon? Was is due to hospital overload because of the Great London Smog of December 5, 1952?
Burderop was the largest and main hospital in england at the time, everyone came there.

I was born in the Burderop Park AFB hospital on Nov2, 1952. My Dad was stationed at the base in supply. Later, his mos would be changed to Air Traffic Control. He retired from the USAF in 1969. My brother was born in Middleton-Stoney and my sister was born in Manchester. Mom and Dad spent 3 years on assignment in Great Britain.
My dad was stationed at a USAF base near Wiltshire and I was born at the Burderop Park AFB hospital in 1953. I have an English Birth Certificate and my birth is registered on the 'England and Wales Birth Registration Index.' Does anyone know if I am eligible for British citizenship? I received mixed answers from the British Consulate.
