More about this scene

We are looking towards Roys of Wroxham (on the Hoveton side of the bridge). The wooden building on the right has been demolished, but others remain. Lloyds Bank is now Ken's Fish Shop, and motor traffic congests the road even out of season, forcing pedestrians to cross the river via a separate footbridge. A fire in 1995 destroyed Roys main building, which has since been rebuilt.
