More about this scene

This granite settlement stands in a treeless hollow, five miles south of St Ives. Though itself unspectacular, the coastline about is rugged and sublime. The Zennor Quoit is a chambered tomb on a wind-blown hill. Seven stout boulders once supported a colossal slab roof, eighteen feet across. Sadly, it was desecrated by farmers.
