Coronavirus: Thank you for your continued support in these difficult times. Since our office and factory are in a rural area, our staff travel to work individually by car and we have enough space to maintain social distancing, so in consultation with our staff, we have decided to remain open for business unless government policy changes.
We are still able to despatch most of our products, however, the ones listed below (that are made by other manufacturers) will not be available for a while.

Tableware (Coasters & Placemats) and Wallpaper.

Our despatch times are normal, but Royal Mail & Parcelforce delivery times are varying depending on location - some parcels arrive next day and others are taking up to 10 days, which we have no control over.

We will update this message as anything changes.

Memories of Wokingham, Martin's Swimming Pool c1955

I went there as a child many times and have fond memories of the place. I lived in Reading (central) and unfortunately can hardly recall how I got there (probably bus - trolley bus?). Although it no longer exists does anyone know the address - the street/road it was on. Josie Llewelyn

I remember Martins swimmimg pool well, in Milton Road, Wokingham, just up from the Baptist Sunday school I went to. They had caves that the girls and boys changed in when they went with the school for swimming lessons, the cup of Bovril in the cafe and oxo flavoured crisps. The trolley buses didn't go as far as Wokingham, it would have been a ordinary double or single decker bus.
