More about this scene
We are looking back up Crown Hill, with the sign of the Crown on the left. In the 1890s, the Crown was the venue for meetings of the Ancient Order of Foresters, the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows and the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes. In 1950, the Christian Spiritual Church met in the Club Room here.
