More about this scene
A range of houses this side of the telegraph pole has been demolished. The two ladies are at the turning to Maulden's Mill, whilst the children are outside Brackenbury's Tarpaulins. The church tower is 96 feet high, with large windows, battlements, and lions instead of corner pinnacles.
