More about this scene
The Prison Governor's House, now the home of the excellent Town Museum, built in 1779 at the same time as the first prison, was built within the Castle precinct. Note the police motor cycles on the left outside the former prison which became the headquarters of the Pembrokeshire Police from 1888 until 1962. The force also occupied the former Governor's House.
