Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Day 1
Howden School opened on a cold and snowy January day, I think it was the 17th. Before leaving our old schools we were each given a number and on arrival at the school we had to line up behind cardboard boxes with this number displayed. It turned out to be our houseroom number. Starting Senior School

School Times
I go to this school now and it is very good. It has changed so much from the picture. Now in 2012 it looks so much better, the buildings are splended. Would anybody post a description of what it was like in 1960's.

Friday Night
I REMMEMBER ONE FRIDAY. NIGHT WHEN ME AND MY VERY SPECIAL FRIEND BRUCE. WERE OUT ON THE TOWN. I REMMEMBER THINKING TO MYSELF HOW NICELY DRESSED ALL THE MEN WERE. THEN I MEET UP WITH SOME OTHERE FRIENDS OF BRUCE'S AND MINE.LISA.EMMA AND LUCY.THEY DIDNT SEEM THEIR NORMAL HAPPY SELF SO I SUGGESTED A FEW DRINKS IN THE WHEATSHEATH.IT WASNT VERY FULL.AND I WAS SERVED BUY TWO OF FRIENDLIEST MEN I HAVE EVER MEET. All our photos are printed as optimised versions of their originals, this process can take anything from 15 minutes to several hours. This ensures that the product you get shows the true quality that Frith photos are renowned for.

Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
