Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Wandering through the old photos prompted a memory of the opening of the Boating Pond. What year was that? With others from the Barbara Spencer Edwards dance school, wearing white pleated skirts navy blue waistcoats and hats, we stood in the water by a large model of Drake’s Golden Hind and felt very important! Does anyone remember the name of this hotel. I stayed there when I was doing a short course for a bank in 1967? Anyone remember staying there then. It had a very fancy name. I was a bit home sick as it was the first time I had gone away on my own from home for work. It was in the winter months. I would love to go back there but I am not sure if the hotel is still there? 1945 As a boy of 15 and living in Banstead road carshalton Beeches, I had two friends named Raymond & Peter Colly, there father Mr Colly who was a clockMaker and was badley burnt in WW2. Shortly after the war went back to his birth home ( Tiegnmouth) and opened a watch/clock shop taking his family with him.in 1948 he invited me to spend my two weeks holiday at his house/shop, at that time I enyoyed Cycling ...see more
Teignmouth was a very different place then. You could use 2p's to go on the rides which used to be dotted a long the seafront, also there wre lots of boat trips you could go on. Even the train fare was cheaper, there used to be a row of houses by the train station before they built the Co-Op carpark.
