More about this scene
The chancel arch is Norman, with scalloped zigzags. The north and south arcades have four bays and three bays respectively. In his book, Pevsner asks: 'why are they not in line, and why does the easternmost bay on the north side differ from the others?' The stained glass in the east window, designed by Henry Holiday, was made by Powell in 1917-18.
