Andover, From North West 1898

More about this scene
The most scenic approach to the town is from the north. A century on, the view of Church Hill in Marlborough Street is still easily recognisable, despite the two great complexes built on each side of the road, the Lloyds TSB Training Centre on the left and Cricklade College on the right. The first building in the picture is the Anton Laundry; today by appointment to His Highness the Prince of Wales.
