More about this scene
The cyclist passes Buckland & Son, Tailors and Outfitters, an old-fashioned shop which was so useful then, but is rarely to be found in today's towns. The ladies in 1950s' fashions walk past the railings of the Baptist Church. This would soon be rebuilt in modern form facing the Folly, transporting the original rose window glass.
