Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

this pleasant view looks down the main street from the path beside the church. On the left-hand side of the road we can see the Ship inn, and also a sign for Regent petrol. One wonders how busy this petrol station would have been in those days, just 40 years ago!

Good Old Days
My first girlfriend in the early 60s, Daphne, lived in the Chequers pub. I wonder whatever happened to her?

Ash By Sandwich 1789 1848
Ash is three miles west from Sandwich, a village lying 2 and a half miles south-westfrom Richborough Castle. The Church of St Nicholas has an interesting interior with monuments and effigies. Zachariah Pettman of Littlebourne married Sarah Jordan of Woodnesborough at Ash on 31 October 1789. They bore 8 children at Ash between 1790 and 1798. Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
