Beulah, The Bridge c.1933

More about this scene

Entering the hamlet, the main A483 crosses the River Camarch en route to Builth Wells. The waters were so shallow that a ford had sufficed for many years, and this bridge was quite new at the date of the photograph. The trees in the centre have been cut back for safety and to allow some light into the two houses.
