More about this scene

Bolney is a quiet village, located just off the main London to Brighton trunk road. The 13th-century church of St Mary Magdalene has a massive 16th-century tower with rounded pinnacles, which houses a peal of eight bells. The public house is appropriately named the Eight Bells. A timber-framed Tudor Tea House is located on the main road. Wykehurst is a French-style chateau with conical turrets and elaborate ornamentation. It was built in 1872 for Henry Huth, a famous collector of rare books. A new vineyard was planted in the village in 1973.
