Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

we lived in a 2 up 2 down mid terrace house on the crags there was 10 kids 2 adults i dont know how thay managed but we had a great time growing up
I also lived on the Wimpeys on Hyndley Road next to power house lol remember the Quiet Woman pub being built x
This photograph was taken at the Bolsover Illuminations in Sherwood Lodge. They were all made by Jack Spray, (also did projects for Blackpool Illuminations). I think they were held in October/November and hundreds of people used to come. Buses from all over Derbyshire were parked on Oxcroft Lane. Celebs used to come and open them. I remember watching rail embankment being removed with earth moving machines. The village hall at the model village. Types of equipment on recreation ground below Bainbridge Hall. Tunnel to Scareclif filled and blocked. Walking round large market on Kitchen Croft which has a signpost naming it Town End car park. Old buildings. My school on Welbeck Road. Tennis courts on Horncroft recrreation park. Markham and Bolsver pits. Mercol which had station buildings in use.
