Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

Although there are many pleasant cottages in the vernacular brick and flint, the modest village street does not reflect Caister's illustrious history. Caister's Castle was built by Sir John Fastolf when he returned from the French wars. Having led the English archers at Agincourt, he was seeking well-deserved repose and retirement. The castle later passed to the Paston family, its chequered history described in their famous letters.

Looking For 1987 Photos Of Caister Holiday Park — Kids Playground & Welcome Sign

First Flight
This is the plane I had my first flight in during the 1950s. My father had done some work for the owner/pilot , so as a reward we had a flight along the coast, I remember the pilot always used to dive bomb a large dune near where Caister Holiday Camp is .

Memories Of Ladbrookes Holiday Centre
During the summer of 1979 I worked at Ladbrookes Holiday Centre with my friend Tina, we had a wonderful summer full of laughter, I even met my husband there, he was on holiday, 37yrs later we're still married and twice a yr we go back to scratby on holiday wonderful place wonderful memories

Home Counties Dairy Belvedere Village
My father was a milkman, for Home Counties Dairy, the horses were stabled in Hodeson road, the bottling dairy was opposite the Eardley arms pub. The livery was green, and the trade mark a gold triangle. Milk then was in glass pint and half pint bottles with cardboard caps. They also sold small items beside milk.

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
