More about this scene
The graceful spire of historic Chichester Cathedral soars above the buildings of West Street. The spire collapsed in 1861 and was rebuilt under the supervision of Sir George Gilbert Scott. Ranging from Norman to Perpendicular in style, this magnificent building includes a shrine to St Richard, Romanesque stone carvings and tapestries by John Piper.
