More about this scene
The name Odeon is said by some to stand for 'Oscar Deutsch Entertains Our Nation'. However, this is no longer the case here, as the cinema was demolished in 1983. Enlargement of the bill- board over the entrance shows us that the film then showing was Friendly Persuasion, starring Gary Cooper.
