Crowland, Abbey 1894

Not so much a memory, but I'm researching my family tree and my family, the Patmans, lived in Nene Terrace at Vine House Farm. My great grandfather is Arthur George, born in 1899 and died 1964, he was married to Vivian Paul and they had children Fred (Born as John Frederick), Jean, Elizabeth (my nan), George and Violet. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers this family and if anyone has any stories regarding them.

I was born in 5 Nene Terrace on 2-4-47. I remember the Pattersons, the Brakes, and a little shop where I could get 2oz of sweets. Does any one remember my family? My mum was Marjorie, my sister Shirley and I had two brothers, Tom and Roly.

My mother Margery Irene Martin was born in Crowland, she had 3 brothers Reggie, Clarry and Ron. She married my father Wilfred Houghton Blackwell at the Abbey Church in 1936. My last contact was a letter from my Aunt Rene(Clarry's wife) when she was living at 19 Woad Court, The Crescent, Eye. I would love to make contact with any relatives I have in the area. Ref: Les and Bunny Fox, publicans. I lived in Crowland as a young child and my parents ran the Durham Ox, Nene Terrace, as land ord and landlady. Would anyone who knew my parents and has any pictures of the pub or my parents be so very kind as to let me take copies or forward them to my email?
