Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

Benedict Street leads west to Glastonbury's other surviving medieval parish church. It was rebuilt in about 1520 by Abbot Bere. The Great India and China Tea Company, an 1880s building (on the left) is now, aptly, the Mocha Berry Cafe‚ while the haberdashers on the right is now The Grafton Cafe; both establishments reflect the role of the town in servicing, feeding and watering the huge numbers of tourists (and pilgrims) who visit the town.

On The Tor
Somewhere I have a picture of a group of friends & myself here. taken in the early '70's. It was a peaceful place then, & you could walk up & not see a soul, apart from the occasional local walking their dogs. Before The Hippies...
During the '70's I lived in nearby Shepton Mallet. After I'd left school many of my mates & myself bought motorbikes, Glastonbury was often a destination - my first bike was a very unreliable Czech made CZ175. Luckily, near the top of the High Street was a dealer who specialised in them, so I'd often go there to buy spares. The Roman Way
We moved to Glastonbury in 1994 and left in 2000. We loved our time there and have wonderful memories of walking our dogs along Wearyall Hill and across the fields at the back of our house then along the banks of the River Brue. We were able to sit up in bed with a cup of tea in the morning and look at the sunrise over Glastonbury Tor. A very special place that we go back and visit often.

Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
