More about this scene
Five miles east of Sleaford, Heckington is a village widely known for its superb 14th-century Decorated Gothic parish church with its 185 foot high spire, rich carvings and sinuous window tracery. Here we look along the High Street, where most of the houses and cottages survive on the left but only No 62, then an antique shop, on the right. The village is also known for its windmill which has no less than eight sails.
