Very few changes have been made to this attractive 16th-century coaching inn since the photograph was taken. The chimney stack in the foreground has been removed, and the building has been extended at the back. The main bar is dominated by a central fireplace with built-in bread oven.

I remember walking and splashing in the ford with my family.
I was born in 1959 at no 3 Church Green, Hinxton, 3 doors away from the church. I went to this church until I was 6 and I played in the churchyard.
