Hello Judith.
My name is Robert Davies and I was born in the same hospital as you in Sept. 1943. I too lived in South Lane (No. 9) which was adjacent to the junction with Back Lane.
After 4 years we moved up Cliffe - and then I went to Wooldale School. Mr. Johnson - Headmaster - Miss Moxon - Miss Exley. From Wooldale I went to the Nabb Secondary School.
I have a younger brother John who was born in 1946.
I don't recognise your name - but feel sure we must know each other.
I hope to hear from you to exchange other notes - and maybe memories. Robert.
Hello again Judith.

Did you know Stuart Jakeman who lived just off South Lane on Back Lane?
Or Margaret and Janet Bottomley who lived at the very bottom of South Lane up a passage beside the Yorkshire Penny Bank?
Robert Davies.
