Here we see the chain ferry across the Great Ouse at Holywell. On the far shore is the renowned Ferry Boat Inn, which has been selling beer since 1068 - in fact there are documents which suggest it was an inn as early as 980, which makes it one of the oldest licensed houses in the country.
