Lincoln, The Green Dragon Hotel c.1955

More about this scene
The Green Dragon pub is a heavily restored fourteenth-century timber-framed building with a stone ground floor and two jettied or projecting upper storeys. The blank site behind is now occupied by Thorngate House, a nasty 1960s office block: not a very attractive backdrop to this old merchant’s house.
