My parents owned the Sea Shell Cafe....a local haunt for all teens with frothy coffee & a great juke box. Also the newsagent over the road and a B&B.
I had a lovely childhood growing up here.
Our family from Wolverhamton remember many happy holidays spent here from 1949 onwards when they purchased a van and sited it in the first field.It can be seen about 6 vans fron the cliff (if you have good eyesight) going towards the sea.The boys in the family enjoyed exploring the cliff and caves and were introduced to the area by the writer of the above comments Robert Wagstaff.As we all get older we ...see more
My mother and father had their honeymoon in Llanddulas. It was the favourite camping place for the company of the Boys' Brigade attached to our church in Denton, near Manchester.
My first memory of this place was in 1943; yes during World War II.

My mother and father owned the Dulas Arms back in 1945-1949, I still have the original Guest Book. I think Nora was my Nanny. I now live in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. If anyone knows more about this time, please let me know. I can scan pages from the Guest Book and forward. Does anyone know if Freddie Jones is still around?
