More about this scene
This is pre-eminently one of those places which have to be 'discovered', so to speak, by the roving holiday-maker. A tourist not infrequently takes considerable trouble to find out some charming seaside village in which he may dream out his few brief weeks of leisure in ineffable content and rest, soothed by the ever-present, placid sea, the rugged, flower-clad cliffs, and the charming, old-world life that goes on around him.
