Hello Ruth
Just seen your post about the Caprice Coffee House in Morden.
I used to go there a lot in the early '60s.
No mods about as it was a rockers stronghold.
Did you used to go there?
Still in contact with some of the old crowd, we go out for a meal and a drink every so often.

Hi Ginger,
Have just found your note in response to a post on The Caprice in Morden. A couple of years late, but maybe you will catch this? I spent far too much time in the cafe in the early 60's, mostly with my friend Jean Jones. Later I married Dick the Caveman? We had three children together, but divorced after 12 years together. Unfortunately he died last year. He was 91!
I remember you used to take some excellent photographs, some of which I still have.
It would be interesting to hear from you and any of the crowd.

Kind regards,
Maggie Buckingham

As I said in my post I am in contact with a number of the old crowd.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards
Ginger
Dick the caveman, quite a memory quite a man and quite a triumph trophy. I rented the garage you vacated next to Bernies and stored the 3 1937 royal enfields given to me for a tenner by Bob (bootlace) Perkins of striptease fame.

Hi, my Dad (Alec Gold) had a rare Triumph Trophy 500 which he stripped down, modified it, drilled out timing gear and put whiald phillips fuel injectors on. He used to hang out at The Ace cafe and also The Caprice cafe in Morden with his friends Laurie Stark and Richard Downey ( known as the Cave Man). My dad only stopped riding motorbikes 4 yrs ago and had a 600 Fazer which he sold to a guy in London. I believe his old Triumph is still around and would love to be able to show him a photo of it now. He's a true biker through and though and I'm so proud to call him Dad 🥰😍❤️
