Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

My mother was in domestic service to Mr & Mrs William H D Lester who were in residence at Wood End. Wash Hill Newbury Berks . Mr Lester was Waterworks Engineer & Managing Director of Laundries ,. Or any body that can help me locate any friends or relatives ....
My Mothers Name was Miss Edna Mary Whitlock who was at that address
To my information Mr William H D Lester past away on the 23 rd of April 1959 .
Was Intered at Shaw Cemetery. 27 th of April 1959 .

I am also trying to find my father who to my knowledge is father Unknown any help on this matter would be appreciated I was born in the workhouse in reading which was turned into Battle Hospital now demolished ...
