At the junction of Gold Street and Bridge Street, with The Drapery to the right, this view looks west from the end of Mercers Row. Note the splendid 1930s period lettering of 'T C Palmer', the clothes shop, advertising its hand tailored clothes. Most buildings here survive, although further down Gold Street, around the Horse Fair, there have been dramatic changes.
