Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

A Memory of Northolt.

Does anyone remember playing at Northolt airport in the 1950s? I seem to remember they had a huge play area and it was very busy on Sunday afternoons.

Yes they did have a Play Area there..Heathrow Terminal 2 had a Mural of the old Northolt Airport from the days of BEA flying from there.Joyrides in a Dragon Rapide were available once too I remember- my older Brother and I were surprised because on our ride a Lady was piloting the plane..We could hear them warming up the Engines for early morning flights from our Prefab..57 Thorpe Close.My Mother worked there for awhile and used to bring home Barley Sugar Sweets(handed out to Passengers)As Sweet Rationing was still in place they were a great treat!
