A Memory of Northolt.

I left the above school in 1968 to start work. Does anyone remember Mr Mills the PE teacher? Happy day. Bye the way, I lived in Doncaster Gardens and my brother John and sister Sandra who also went to this school to.

My name is John Bryon and I remember Mr Mills. He liked to take the climbing ropes in the gym, and, if you didn't climb very well or fast enough he would slap you on the bottom with the rope! I was good at track and field as I was very tall for my age, but not at team sports. I could tell he never liked me. Every time I wanted to jump for the school record he would always say "No, not enough time!" I lived at 94 Eskdale Avenue until 1966 and the moved to Shepperton Middlesex

I left school in 1965 or '64 maybe. I had a band and played songs by the Shadows and Roy Orbison at two school dances. The band was called Steve and the Blue Diamonds I would love to hear from anyone that knows what happened or remembers the band. The band was fronted by a Stephen Cooper who sung. I have never been able to contact anyone but I have only just found this website

I now live in the United States and have done since 1980
