Redditch, County High School c.1955

More about this scene
The first school in Redditch was built in 1820 on land donated by a local landowner, the Earl of Plymouth, at the junction of Unicorn Hill and Bates Hill. However, it was not until 1909 that Redditch acquired its first secondary school. Like the later County High, it was on Easemore Road. Much extended, it now serves as a college.
