Romford, North Street 1908

More about this scene
Leaving the town by North Street the traveller was soon in the country, passing Marshall's Park on the right. The front offices of the Romford Royal Steam Laundry are situated in quaint cottages on the left. The low building on the right became a garage and the old Congregational Chapel beyond is already the offices of a local newspaper.
