More about this scene
The Turkey Cock c1965 This village watering hole on the road to neighbouring Widford prided itself on being 'the world's most exclusive pub', as evidenced by the signs proclaiming 'No teenager groups served or Teddy Boys' and 'No coaches'. With the decorative wagon wheels, fairy lights, lanterns, horse drawn coaches, and lorry tyres displayed along its frontage, it would be interesting to know what type of clientele its discriminating landlord was seeking.
