Seaton, The Town From Car Park c.1950

More about this scene
Harbour Road has changed considerably since this photograph was taken. The car park has disappeared with the building of flats and shops. But the shop on the right has survived, albeit with the loss of its decorative railings. At this time it belonged to E H Rodger, and traded as a stationer's, confectioner's and lending library. It is now a newsagent.
