Hutton (Hall?) Orphanage C1925

My Dad was at Hutton from 1925. He died when I was 16. He spoke about his time in the orphanage a little and we went to an open day some time during the 1960s. His name was James Turner although when older people called him Jim; maybe they did at school as well. I Was In Hutton Poplars Childrens Home.

From the age of 3 until I was 15 years of age I was in Hutton poplars I was in Humber House Mr and Mrs Healy were in charge. I then after some years in Humber House was transferred to Windermere House with Mr and Mrs Healy in charge of Windermere also. I was there from 1959 to 1974.
