Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Pronounced Slaffham, this quiet village lies close to the A23 London to Brighton road. Note the row of houses on the right - a varied mix of stone houses and tile-hung properties. The Lord of the Manor here paid for Slaugham's telephone wires to be concealed underground so as not to spoil the appearance of the village.

Moved To Slaugham From Canada
I moved to Slaugham from Canada in 1963 and lived there until 1967. I went to school in Handscross and later in Haywards Heath. I fondly remember the fox hunt going through the village each year and Guy Fawks day! We lived next door to the pub in a house called Jenners, Dr. Tate lived next door at the time. Growing Up In Slaugham 1961
I was born in Slaugham at No1 Carpenters Arms in 1961.  It was the very last house on the right hand side before the White Gate.  What a great time all of us kids had and I hope they share fond memories like I do.  The Talmans, The Shoplands and then of course us, The Bottings.  There were 5 girls, 4 older and 1 younger,  and then 5 boys, 2 older and then 3 younger.  My fondest memories are of playing ...see more

Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
