St Columb Major, The King's Arms 1888

More about this scene
Fore Street is exceptionally narrow at this point, where the King's Arms with its slate-hung upper floor is rather lost in the middle distance. The Town Hall on the left has a meat market on the ground floor, and butchers have come out to pose for the photograph.
