More about this scene
Until the modern causeway was built in 1980, this medieval bridge provided the only crossing point over the River Ouse between Huntingdon and Earith. The chapel in the middle of the bridge, which was a pub in the 19th century and then a private house, is now open to visitors. It is strange how fashions come around again - the moped might well be seen today.
