More about this scene
In the Middle Ages, the parish of Beeding also included a large detached portion in the Weald near Horsham, which was separated and named Lower Beeding by 1838. The remaining southern portion is today Upper Beeding, and its main street and houses lie along a causeway leading westwards towards Bramber.
