Watford High Street Male Tap Dancer

A Memory of Watford.

This has bugged me ( in my memory for years ) of a male tap dancer who i often passed tap dancing to music, ( black music box was always on the ground, people threw the odd pennies, sixpences, shillings down, ) in the High Street of Watford around the 1970's...I remember passing him by and thinking this man is very good, he was always well turned out, clean and smart, wore burgundy clothes, he was slim, and knew how to tap dance...As i was in my 20's, i would guess he was then in his 30's or 4'0's, perhaps an ex entertainer, I always thought this man must be well-known, perhaps in the West End, Vaudeville stage maybe...I just never knew who he was...I would often see him tap dance near to Clements...Can anyone share any light on this person who for years ( i am touching 70 ) as i was always baffled as to who he was, nor did anyone else i spoke to knew either..
