More about this scene
The stained glass of the east window dates from around the mid 19th century, along with the glass in the north chapel's east window, and that in the west window. The oldest monument in the church is the one dated 1629 for Sir James Ley. William Phipps, Governor of Bombay, who died in 1748, is also remembered in a bust.
