Winifred Suits, Gowns And Blouses

My Grandmother had the Wool shop at the corner of Watson Road and Potter Street, (Demolished in the 70's to make way for the new roundabout). My mother was the manageress of "Bradmoors" (the dress shop at the corner of Bridge Place and Ryton Street). She later owned the Wool Cabin on Newcastle Avenue. I was the "Saturday Lad" at John Colliers in what is now the "Priory Shopping Mall". I remember the Gown shop as mentioned by Stephen Davey. Was it the shop which is now the "Vapor Store" ? I lived in Worksop from 1953 to 1970.
