Great ice cream, and the family (Mr & Mrs Warne) who ran it in the 1950s were very pleasant, especially their daughter Sue. A lovely friendly girl (and not in the modern way of thinking, just a nice girl). A few of the lads I knew would call in there on Sunday about noon time, normally for a cola with two scoops. Peter Harris, Brian Davis, Sid Windibank, Dave Pearman, myself and many others. Very fond memories.
