This is Oxford Road, not Oxford Street. Otherwise we enjoy! JC Our Archivist has been looking into this - it looks as though the name changed in the 1960's from Oxford Street to Oxford Road. Regards, Editor.

This street/road was known as Oxford Street at the time this photograph was taken, in 1913, which is how it was catalogued in the Frith archive, to be historically accurate. It was renamed Oxford Road in the 1960s, which is how it is known now. Information from the Frith Memories Archivist.
