My name is David Thomas. I was born in 1938, in Plymouth, but my parents lived in Warren Road in Kingsbridge. Next door lived Billy Maddick, and I would go there to listen to 'Dick Barton, Special Agent' because I was not allowed to listen at home! My memories relate to the 1950's when I spent school summer holidays with my grandmother, Lily Creber, and great aunt, Gladys Hill, at Windsor Road. There was an agricultural machinery repairer just around the corner, next to Church Street Post Office.
