More about this scene
The crew of a sailing dinghy are apprehensively watched by the relaxing occupants of a punt as it manoeuvres past in a steady breeze. The singlet-clad male and his companion appear to be listening to a cumbersome battery-powered radio of the period. The canvas covering suspended over metal hoops not only protected boating enthusiasts from inclement weather, but also allowed them to sleep on board.
