Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

This scene is virtually indistinguishable today: even the tear-shaped flower bed has survived decades of traffic management. The Panton Arms (left) is named after a local antiquarian, Paul Panton. Panton had married a local heiress, Jane Jones of Plas Gwyn, and they owned much of the estate around Pentraeth. Charles Dickens stayed here when reporting on the shipwreck of the 'Royal Charter' in 1859. By 1965, Pentraeth was a village that began to owe much to tourism, as the beach ware on sale at the shop on the right shows.

What Should We Have For Tea
My aunt could make a meal from practically nothing, and those war years really put her cooking to the test. No choice of meat in the butchers, if you were at the end of the queue you took pot luck with what was left. Aunty Carol,Aunty Freda And The Farm.
Gosh, where do I begin. I suppose I'm asking for help here, as well as sharing memories. My mam was Gwenfron Elizabeth (Williams back then I think), she used to live up on a farm at the top of a long hill coming off the centre of Pentraeth. Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
